Thought I'd share these. I needed updated pics of the kids. The style was inspired by another photographer, i cant remember who. Saw a post on it a few days ago on another forum i think.
anyway, window light only, 50mm, f1.8.

Very nice. Not quite sure about that shallow of DOF (going back and forth on it) -- but still beautifully done.

| DOF is fantastic, skin tones are great, eyes look wonderful, just very nice work. |

it doesn't get any simpler, a large window behind me, blinds open to let the sun in, it was about noon so it wasn't shining, no reflectors either, just a window.

I saw a post a bit ago where sample images of a prominent photographer were shown for portraits and I loved the look, so tried to replicate it. |
