how many have made more comments than received?

| I've made 46 but received 38. I'm pretty new though. I'm sure it will go up and down over time. |

doesnt tie up somehow, everyone is complaining they get no comments,
all seem to make more than they get.

I guess I'm in big debt. :)) well but I have and excuse, I'm on dialup so with all these 300+ challenges I'm happy if I get to vote em all, not much time left for commenting so I only coment when I really feel I have something to say. |

I'm in the same boat with you, Britannica!!! I joke a lot about not having a life, but I really do. I have three kids (two of which are involved in sports), a wonderful career, a yard, a dog, and I still take pictures every once in a while...and I still make time to make comments and vote. I am a firm believer in the fact that you will make time to do what you really want to do.

Should comment more than I do...especially on lower scoring images.
Only commented on 26 of the 444 "Rusted" pics and they all tend to be complimenting the pictures I really like.
I`m making an effort to change this pattern but basically, I don`t feel "qualified" to be handing out advice to most submitters..unless I see very basic mistakes. |

I'm another one who is trying to raise his helpful/made ratio. No matter what I do, I can't seem to move it much off of 66%. Ahhh well, I'll have to try harder I guess.
I had autool send me his spreadsheet, but haven't ahd a chance to try it yet. Maybe tonight.
Britannica and laurielblack: A few of us could go back and comment on some things in your profile if you are interested in a little rear looking feedback.

But I've only been here since April 6...and I have also felt that often my comment would be a repeat of something obvious or I might not have much photographic knowledge yet. |

| Glad to see i'm not the only one who looks at their made to helpful ratio. Lately I've noticed some people who never check any comments as helpful. That's lame. I'd rather see a page with a dozen comments and mine be the only one that's not checked helpful, at least then you would know the photog looked at the comment you took the time to make. |

I've only had two entries so far.
Comments being helpful is important to me. I'm a member of the critique club and it's disheartening to spend a long time on a critique and find that it's not helpful to the photographer. I want to keep my helpful ratio at at least 75%. I also want to keep my comment rate at about 20% but Rusted makes that really hard. |
