So how do you expect others to still want to participate, knowing that you are four laps ahead already? Stealth is your only friend in this challenge description.

Could just as well have read "In the style of... nudge, nudge... wink, wink..... say no more, say no more.."

What about 2 weeks for both the prolific and the sporadic to shoot and choose something?

I would enjoy shooting this and seeing what others come up with.

You might want to mention which set of editing rules you'd like this run under -- Langdon usually follows the initial suggestion, so I suggest actually editing your original post.

Might I suggest Minimal Editing as it is all about the ability of the 'Photographer' not the software artist....

Or Minimal Editing with a special rule allowing RAW.

This is one of those cases where I think the Basic ruleset ought to work -- you can crop, adjust overall tone and contrast (as when developing film/paper) but without retouching or dodging/burning, and you can tweak/optimize the sharpening after resizing. The emphasis remains on the capture rather than the post-processing.

Great idea :-)

That's basically advanced, LOL.

PLEASE make it Basic. Advanced allows layer work, tonemapping, etc. which would detract from the original photo.

You can do tonemapping in Basic as well. Just not HDR.

And remove tonemapping from allowed processing in Basic.
