I hate first day voters.
i went to bed at 1am with a consistent 6+ score after 8 votes.
who the hell feels the need to low-vote people for the sake of it. i want to do like Jay and Silent Bob, get a list of everybody who's low-voted me for the sake of it (not just when it's a bad image, those i understand); go to their door and beat the stuffing out of them to show that being an "anonymous internet jerk" doesn't always work and someone will find you at some point.
Also, i want to do the same thing to the airlines and mother nature for stranding me so very very close to home, yet still far away with the recent storm that passed through the states and canada.... i'm not a happy person this morning :-|

Is it evil that I found this hilariously funny? ;)
Try not to worry about it too much, the biggest thing is that YOU like the image, and it was worth creating, or that you learned something from the process...
Besides, FWIW - it's probably just that the image actually does suck, and the late night voters were simply hammered drunk. ;)

And you're likely spot-on with this
I have been going through so many versions of my two potential entry subjects, with crops, saturation levels, sharpness adjusts, i just got fed up and asked my wife what she though, she shrugged and said she liked them all, so i picked one that seemed to have the most "jump out at you" factor, which in hindsight is likely not the one with the most "wow, so pretty, i want to score it high" factor.

I have been eating my fist in anticipation of losing the six since vote number nine and it did happen but regained and held since forty. As free study feb falls my art 2012 rises if they meet in the middle I will have my first six, twice, on the same day, however I am expecting a pair of tiny violins in the mail :/ back to biting the fist.
