I make pretty good scones - someone else will have to chip in with the homemade strawberry jam as I have used all mine up. Plenty of Early Grey and lady Grey, but you Americans are better at homemade lemonade :) |

Unfortunately I'm all out of homemade jam. I didnt make any this year, and last years reserves are all used up. :(
I make strawberry rhubarb jam, and it's awesome!! although, for high tea, regular strawberry would probably be better...

well it's Strawberry Festival time here in Central Florida (Plant City). I'll make the jam...it's seems that I'm in the basement as well...

The judge was an Painting person, not photography, I personaly saw a couple of shots I liked better than mine but he liked this over all...OH and it won People's Choice award too... Goes to show Art in is the eye of the beholder!! LOL |
A little OT, but I had the reverse happen... My one and only DPC Blue also took Best In Show in our local county fair's photo contest

| There was no jury this time and no extended anticipation. The numbers are also down in this month FS. There seems to be no stopping of DPC decline in spite of some great initiatives. This site is in a very bad need of an overhaul. I know this a dead horse etc etc but if nothing is done it will continue shrinking. But look at the bright side - soon all entries will be TT! ;) |

The site had a fairly good turn out for the last 4 challenges.
So that's a good sign. But as far as low scores go I don't have an answer.
