great image for everyone to see...( by mavrik )

note: this shot was in 2nd place in "proportions" challenge before being DQed because of a EXIF data error(user error).. it got 7 some point avarage.. an image to be reckoned with... pleasure to look at...

IMPORTANT NOTE: CAMERA DATE IS A VERY SERIOUS ISSUE.. EVERYBODY SHOULD MAKE DOUBLE SURE THAT THEIR CAMERA HAS BEEN SET TO CORRECT DATE BEFORE SHOOTING IMAGES FOR CHALLENGES... IT IS NOT A RULE TO BE TAKEN LIGHTLY.. PLEASE MAKE SURE EXIF DATE IS CORRECT TO AVOID BEING DQed..

Thanks for posting the original comments. I agree completely with the SC's decision to follow the rules, but, I have to say that I think the DPC community overall is reacting in a pretty positive manner.

The idea of keeping this thread on the front page for a few days is a good one and will give some well deserved recognition to a great photo.

Well I have to say congradulations to my buddy for this terrifc shot. I already congradulated him before the DQ and will continue to, because he really does deserve it :)

haha I know - I'm milking it while it's there. Striking while the iron is hot - and all that jazz!

Plus drew was nice enough to approve the print in like 3 seconds.
