Five votes already. I should go to bed while still above 6.

This is the image that I thought about immediately when I saw this challenge:

Pity that this one had to be a self-portrait making it close to impossible to take a really good portrait in a crowd. No wonder there are so few entries! |

What's funny is that it's all honor system. One could have submitted a portrait of anyone in a crowd. |

Oh my goodness, this is the lowest I have voted in a long time:

Stats:	You have rated 26 of 26 images (100%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 5.1538.

Evidently, I was not impressed :-(

In case you're wondering: I did NOT enter, hence no trolling to improve my chance. |

Sorry for my harsh voting, probably my lowest average ever.

I'm not a DNMC nazi (and I tried to have a wider horizon) but I cast several 1's, sorry guys |

Quite polarized opinions on this - I am with MinsoPhoto on this one. I saw some very creative takes. Did not enter and have not voted yet, but I will :) |

		| It's a shame there were so few people willing to play the game and so many people willing to complain about those who did. |

		| I thought it was a great idea for a challenge and was disappointed that I didn't get an entry submitted (not that I have submitted anything lately, but this one looked interesting). |

You're right. I didn't mean to complain about the ones who joined, they made an effort I was not able to make. I'm really sorry I didn't have time to enter. This kind of challenges requiring some people are very interesting but it's very hard to get good shots. So it's not about complaining but I really hoped to see some great shots. Of course there are a few creative ones, but not so many :) |

Interesting that this challenge brought out the B&W processing.
 17 of 25 images.
(And at least a third really stretched the meaning of the word 'crowd') |

		| Why is stretching the meaning of the word crowd a bad thing? The notion I think is to bring ingenuity to the challenge. |

Didn't say it was a bad thing. I guess I might have implied it. Not a fan of the shoehorn.
Some stretches were better than others. I love a good stretch. Really.
It is tough sometimes, actually finding a real crowd. |

Sorry wasn't following this thread after I posted it!

A doozer in my language is pretty much 'bad' only a few good ones in this challenge, and I mean few as in maybe 4, lol! Sorry, I didn't enter bc of the same reason Margaret mentioned, and this photo was what came to mind as well when I read the challenge, and no one can beat it, it's a whopper!! |

Except that is not a self portrait. This challenge should have been singled out in a crowd or alone in a crowd, something along those lines. |
