Seriously though, for those at 500px, do your photos reach popular? How do they get to the 'Popular' stage? I upped this photo
It's a nice feeling but I wonder what it took to get it there. It's not one of my personal favorite photos, I like others better, but this one got the attention of the masses. |

ive had 4 or 5 reach popular, mainly nudes but some landscapes staying there is the hard bit
i dont chase likes but alot of the comments on my images are please look at my new photos et cwhen you look theyve posted it to 100k images grrr that annoys me about 500px
youve not hit 90 yet when it gets up there its hard to maintain it, ive had 99.5 high but didnt last long

you know whats funny? I posted that shot on 500px and 1 hour later i had a email that someone wanted to buy it! having no idea where it might end up however, I declined |

I only had one reach the dizzying height of #1 of the Popular with a score of 99.9 but I have accidentally deleted it using 500px plugin in LR!
