| Is it possible to implement this into the equipment section so that we can right down our experiences with different gear and read those of others? Or is that going to take a lot of coding that I don't understand and can't really help with? |

It's such a shame that the Admin's participation is so far down with the potential for the site being nearly limitless. Even the threads for side challenges such as the one for Studio in December didn't get much play. I've let my membership lapse in silent protest of Langdon's neglect of the members here. I hope that some day for whomever still hangs around that he gets interested again, or that he eventually lets someone else take it over.

Yeah sorry about that, I started it and lapsed myself although I was sick for a while. I intend to just make it an ongoing thread and add to it tomorrow after I shoot my son and his cousin. |

this is a great idea....however first step would be to clean up equipment section since it is a total mess .... here is an example...did you guys know nikon makes two versions off the famous nikon 70-200 2.8 vr2?
look at this from nikon lenses section right here on DPC:
Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II
Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II
I wonder if the one with all capital NIKKOR is better than just plane Nikkor model? |

No problem, just another point that the site isn't a priority to many of us, including Langdon anymore. I won't be able to participate without linking, since I dropped my membership, but I'll stop in now and then.

Same here. I used to always remember that I had to renew my membership before the end of the Christmas and New Year holidays break. There was a time when I thought that I might never not be a member of DPChallenge but it's already been a year this month since I wasn't motivated to renew my membership. |
