Okay, thanks. I thought that I remembered a forum for that purpose but I couldn't remember if it was here or somewhere else.
I never did appreciate the "cold" way that some corrective actions are taken on this site.
I was offering what I thought was a great deal on a D600 and Nikon 24-85VR lens that I haven't even received from B&H yet. I ordered the camera which comes with the lens and a bundle of other stuff as a my new primary camera and was going to use my soon to be repaired D700 as a backup. Geek Squad couldn't fix it so they made a deal for a new D800 for only $500 more out of my pocket. Now I don't need the D600 and I had planned on selling the lens anyway.
But......I am NOT placing an ad. No, not me.

Oh... well... I can see why that would be a member's only forum. I never knew it wasn't.
Why not just return it to B&H when it arrives?
I love Black Tie protection plan at Best Buy! It's so wonderfully better than what they had before (but I liked that, too... they never quibbled and replaced shutters and a mirror assembly for me at no charge.)

I will return it to B&H if nobody takes me up on buying the body for less than it could probably be found somewhere else. Because the bundle was such a great deal I bought it thinking that I would simply sell the lens for less than it could be purchased separately. Now I don't need either and I just took it one step further and decided to see each separately and for less than what they can be purchased.
If nobody wants to take advantage of the situation then I will return it as soon as it arrives. I'm use the D800 as my primary landscape camera and probably get a D7000 or a used D3 as a primary camera (reasonable file sizes for everyday use). |
