I recently made a purchase from:
Central Camera
Their prices are comparable to B&H and I was quite happy with the results of my order. I placed an order with them late on a Monday afternoon and they managed to get it shipped that day. B&H doesn't often ship on the same day, especially if you order late in the day. Central Camera also gives free shipping on $50+ orders under 10lbs. They had the lens I needed in stock when no one else did also.
If you buy online, you should probalby consider these people. I plan to use them again and split some of my B&H business with them.

Looks like they have a great score at resellerratings.com, however they only have four reviews (and one of them is yours). Seems kind of odd for a company that's been around since 1899 and had a web site since 1998. Time will tell. Thanks for another tip, John- I have a Canon 50mm f1.8 thanks to an earlier shopping alert. |

For Canadians, I'd suggest checking out Camera Canada. I didn't actually purchase anything from them, so I can't speak of their service. I did however, use their super low pricing to take advantage of Future Shop's 30 day lowest price match guarantee. edit. For anyone buying the Canon dRebel, I couldn't find a cheaper place in Canada to buy it.
