sempermarine saved the life of a six year old boy who was drowning yesterday. He would never tell anyone so I am. The boy fell off a fishing pier and when he heard the splash he ran over and jumped in the water to save him.

He can explain the rest...

Proud to call him my best friend.

If he thinks he's not a hero, then that makes him a hero! According to Brian Regan, when someone asks if he thinks he's a hero he need to look up and to the left when he says no. :) In all seriousness that is awesome, there is nothing more beautiful you can do in life than save another.

That child and his parents will be forever grateful. What a wonderful, selfless act. Yes, you are a hero!

Ya well, something tells me from his username that his commitment is more than skin deep.

I also like his work that demonstrates how serious he is and how he sees life as no joking matter.

Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

It'd be nice to have the rest of the story, guys.....

And to think all we had here on DPC were selfish people... ;)

That's awesome for real though!

Todd, what was it like dressing up as a six-year-old? ;D

Well done, sempermarine.

A real hero doesn't see himself as one, so I am not surprised at his silence in this issue. In any case, well played, sir.

Wow, just an awesome thing to know this young man will have a chance to grow up because of an act of a stranger who responded in a time of need, pretty cool!

I thought he was a nice guy, anyone who has so many kids, must be a pretty good guy, in my books anyway.
