Welcome to this week's "Member of the Week" post. Every week I will post the name of a member and a link to their profile. This will be our Member of the Week. Go have a look at their profile page and/or portfolio. Enjoy their photos, leave some comments and most of all post one or two of their photos in this thread so others can see them and enjoy them. If you like you can also write a little blurb saying why you enjoy this member's photos.

This week's Member of the Week is escapetooz. And here are a couple of her photos.

I am especially fond of this image:

A lot of evocative work in her portfolio. Nice find.

there is much to be learned from escapetooz and her portfolio, like...

- how to have a wide range and still have your own style
- how to take high-scoring shots that aren't boring
- how to take shots of beautiful people that aren't soulless
- how to go your own way, wherever it takes you

I'm a fan.

:) Thanks everyone. I'm flattered.

Feel free to take a look at my much neglected lifestyle blog as well. :) It will be getting some much needed TLC when the busiest of my crazy traveling is through.

A great choice. I have been a fan of Monica's work for a while. She bring such energy to portraits.

See a shape and transform it. Escapetooz does it with charm.

And for a bit of whimsy, interpret a lamp!

In addition to the above mentioned, can I also add that she is also incredibly pretty? hihi

Thanks everyone. :) My portfolio is in serious need of an update. My membership lapsed years ago and when I signed on again I haven't added new shots aside from the challenge entries. Really gotta sort out my cuts and keeps, so if you see something I should def cut, or def keep, let me know.

Thanks so much everyone for all of the support! It's funny seeing photos from years ago popping up as people's favorites. Sometimes when you keep moving forward, forward, forward, you forget that you have some good work from way back too. :)

:) Just when I'd given up hope on anything other than portraits. Hehe.

So many wonderful portraits, reminds me of Svetlana ( silverfoxx).

Love this one in particular, fantastic vintage feel to it from the pose to the bathing suit and smile. Congrats girl! :-)

Thanks for the comparison. :) Has she been around? I remember really loving her work when I was first starting on DPC.

I haven't seen her around here recently, but her port and homepage should still be up. Seen her post on facebook every so often.
