| Like logos, fields, stadiums, balls, gear, etc....? No player or action shots. I started a thread for football and now ive seen two killer shots i would have probably never have seen otherwise. It could be for a certain sport or all sports. Either way, I think it would be a great challenge...and maybe we'd get to see team logos and perspectives on accessories we have never seen... |

I still think that photo kicks butt, hsteg. yeah, this is the idea. i think shooting sports without the players makes for different feelings, don't you?

i dont know, lol, i just do it. But my top 4 highest rated images are all about sports without players except for one.

| that's all i'm sayin. everyone likes to see athletes in motion ore with emotion, but taking sports pics without the players conveys something totally different, i think. something unexpected. nice canoes, scott... |

nice. im originally from LA and the first sports event i went to ever was a lakers game.
i live in sacramento now and realize that the kings are the shiznet. but nice photo, tfarrell, nice. the picture would be TOTALLY different, with a different message if Shaq was wipin his forhead with that towel, now wouldn't it?

| p.s., maybe you could put some white stains on the towel and entitle it, "Bryant's Downfall..." |

| How about a shot of a player's locker in his team's dressing room; the name one the locker reads Barry Bonds; and on the shelf at the top of Barry's locker is a big jar that says Steroids from Balco on it? Would that fit your challenge matt? |
