I always like to watch stupid videos about the making of pictures. These ones are pretty silly, but I like funny stuff :)

Gotta ask you Alex, what does it mean to be a scarecrow in the ocean. It's beautiful imagery, but I cannot seem to translate it into a feeling I can comprehend. Any explanation would be cool. My closest guess is that you feel you have a job to do, but you cannot seem to perform it because you're not in the right location. Maybe. Maybe that's too literal.

I can say that you are not too far from the real meaning.

I'm experiencing a hard moment in my life: on one hand I'm becoming father for the first time and I'm pretty excited, on the other hand the business I'm running doesn't work as I'd like. I disagree on crucial decisions with my two colleagues (and friends). So I feel like I'm the right person in the wrong place. Like the scarecrow I'm in a strange situation and the only way out is staring at the far sun...

Awesome Videos! Thanks for sharing. Now that I've viewed the scene with the video exposure, how in the heck did you get that beautiful red sky in PP?? Care to take your sharing one step further with a before and after adding some PP steps? Or is that giving away too many secrets?

Not a great secret :)

Developed the image in Camera Raw. Then used Topaz Adjust to enhance contrast. To get that color I changed the general colors towards a red/orange hue and blended it on the original with the overlay blending mode.
