The Smile
Description: From the grin to the laughing smile, a smile is one emotion that photographers have sought to capture since the early days of photography. Playing to the phrase "Smile for the camera", take a picture of a person or persons that best captures this emotion.

yes, it's a great topic. do we really need a description that limits it to people? you're making it too similar to a portrait challenge. |

Indeed, it is a portrait challenge with the unified theme. However that does not mean our furry friends cannot be included with a person for indeed they do make people smile. Just a quick search I found these great examples of a portrait of a person smiling with their fur babies:-)
Yes, I know, the examples are all with dogs but I am sure that someone has captured a person with a great smile beside their cat, ferret, frog, horse, hamster, etc, etc.
