[i was talking to a friend today who relayed the following to me when i asked her how her sister was. she told me that her sister had been calling and calling and that she had been busy and consequently ignoring her sister until she got a text that said "I met someone!!!" so she called her sister and had the following conversation.]
R: so, tell me about him!
S: well...uhm...well, it's not a 'him'...
R: ooookay...so you've had a change of heart about some things in your life, huh?
S: yeah, i guess.
R: so, what's she like?
S: she's pretty nice.
R: are you going out?
S: sort of, when we can, it's not easy, though...
R: why? because you're not sure what people are going to think?
S: no, not that. it's that she's married.
R: really?! so it wasn't good enough for you to decide you're lesbian, but you have to break up another lesbian couple in the process?!
S: no, not exactly. see, she's married to a gay guy, you know, for tax purposes.
R: you're kidding? no, you're not. you couldn't be making this up. so what's she do for a living?
S: i'm not sure, but i think it involves selling marijuana.
R: oh, come on! no! what are you thinking?
S: she's just so wonderful to be with, to be around.
R: come on! oh, sissy, no. i mean, oh, well, so, are you like, 'intimate'?
S: well, that's complicated...see, she was in an accident, and well, a lot of her is metal.
R: NOOOOOOOO! no! no! this ain't right!
S: i knew you'd be this way.
R: sissy, please, tell me, is there anything else?
S: well, she's 49, and she voted for obama.
R: oh my god! oh, my, GOD! ...have you told dad, yet?
S: i was hoping you'd tell him for me...
R: yeah...right...and just what do you want me to tell him?!?!
S: i don't know...
R: that his other daughter has the hots for a left-leaning, dope-dealing, cougaring lesbian terminator who's married to a gay tax cheat?
S: it doesn't sound that good when you put it that way.
R: no, it doesn't. you know, i don't know what to tell you. it's your life, i love you, hell, i'll walk down the aisle with you, i'll even drive you to visit her when she's doing time, but i'll draw the line at you bringing her to dad's funeral...
S: she's my soul mate!
R: i'm sure of that, honey, but if dad strokes out, your soul mate ain't coming to the funeral, and that's that! |

OMFG that is toooo funny...reminds me of a lesbian roommate who got married online to an Australian transsexual (male to female)...oh the stories I could tell...best of lick err, luck to them! |

she didn't say "can't", just that it was "complicated". i'm guessing anything's possible ;-) you know, where there's a will, there's a way... |

Watch this guy. He led me down the garden path once before OH, I wish I could find the thread. It's one Skip initiated. Had to do with a philandering papa who got caught and wanted forgiveness (or was fighting for his life, I forget which). Some thought it was Skip! Yeah, sure.
