Thanks for all the comments every one.
I feel bad because probably won't be commenting all that much. I don't know what I can possibly add to the excellent comments already given by people better than myself. When later in the month I'm using one of your setups, hopefully that speaks to what I thought of your original.

No worries Christopher, it isn't necessary to comment IMHO, participating is enough 'cos then people can learn by commenting or just taking a critical look at each others shots ;)

The only theme is a self portrait and trying to use a unique lighting setup each time so that at the end you could potentially have 31 different lighting portraits.

I've had a minor tragedy. My main computer has died and it appears I will be down for a few days. I will catch up as soon as I can. My apologies. I am thoroughly enjoying this side challenge.

Yes and No! Yes I have a copy of all my raw files and any old files I processed. I did lose about 30 shots I had post-processed from Ernest's wedding that I will have to re-do! I hope he doesn't eat me! I'll talk to you Monday.
