After D4, D800 and 5D MKIII... I just had to know what are the 3 things people love about their current, main, cameras.
I will start... I LOVE the image quality of my D1x camera first, very strong built, shutter/flash sync (1/500) |

I love that my 7D shoots at 8 FPS, which is great in a lot of situations.
I love that it has wireless flash capability built in to the pop-up flash.
I love that I have actually confirmed its weather resistance, and find it to be awesome. I can always trust it, so now I get it dirty when I need to. |

I love the fact its mine and I can always sell it for food.
I love that it keeps me stable in a high wind.
I love that if I didn't have it I wouldn't be here writing this. |

Olympus XZ-!:
I love that it fits in my pocket
I love its f1.8 Zuiko lens
I love that I often don't know where it is & that it doesn't matter to me.
My true favourite camera.
I love the huge sensor
I love the absence of a light meter
I love waist level viewfinder. |

I love that it sees things I don't. There's always a surprise in frame somewhere when I get home.
I love that it gets me out of the house to find things for it to see.
I don't have a third thing at the moment. If I think of one later I'll let you know! |

Takes awesome pictures without my needing to have any talent.
Feels like a weapon in my hands.
Makes people think I'm a professional photographer instead of the imitative hack that I really am.

1. I love it that I am blessed enough to have it, because it brings me so much joy. Every time I "open" my CF card and see what I got... it's like my birthday!
2. I love it that it lets me be creative... I'm finding even more about who I am with a camera, even though I've "always" had one.
3. If I have to name a function of my specific camera, I love the frames per second. |

After abandoning my Nikon F60 for a variety of digital p&s and superzoom cameras, I just love the way my Nikon D7000 feels in my hands. I love the satisfying sound of the shutter and I love that I'll be able to add different lenses (one day).

1 - Buttons are more conveniently located compared to my old D90.
2 - I can bludgeon someone without having to worry about the camera.
3 - I can add a battery extension to get me closer to the FPS I need without having to spend the money on the D3. **
** Now after reading the specs and seeing the shots of the newer D4, I may have to pick it up in the near future.

1- I love the way it makes me be more observant of the things around me.
2- I love shutting the world out while I'm out taking pictures.
3- I love the way it captures the present and makes memories of the past.
(I hate the update button at the beginning of a challenge!!! Lol) |

After 6.5 years, I still love my 5D. The things that I love most are:
- The image quality. It never fails to deliver stunning images, as long as the user doesn't screw up!
- The flexibility of the EOS system with respect to lenses. There's a whole world of classic stuff that can be mounted.
- The reason I bought it the minute it became available, full frame 35mm baby! Boy, did I miss that.

For my Canon:
1. 436mm (35mm EQ) maximum optical FL -- lets me shoot from far away
2. Tilt-swivel LCD -- lets me shoot at odd angles
3. A tie between SuperMacro mode (will focus as close as the front surface of the lens) and that it takes AA batteries instead of a stupid proprietary battery pack.
For my Olympus:
1. That it still works (sometimes) after more than 10 years
2. The lens assembly (almost) perfectly fits some cheap special-effects lenses (see my "Blurry" Gallery)
3. It takes AA batteries |

For my Canon EOS 400D:
1. The way I was able to get my camera and all the wonderful people that made it possible. -Thanks again!
2. I can take pictures again.
3. I can enter challenges again.

For my 5D2:
1. The buttery-smooth image tonality (you knew I was gonna say it, right?).
2. The Custom modes on the top dial, so I can just flip the dial and get auto-bracketing for HDRI.
3. The sensor-cleaning function WORKS!

5. Noise at ISO 52,000 is perfect. |

Canon Rebel Xti
1. I love that it proves to me everyday that its the photographer not the camera, as I outshoot friends with much more expensive cameras
2. Its super light frame (shooting with my work's Mark 1 always makes my hands cramp up from the weight)
3. That its a super hardy camera that has lasted me through various harry circumstances and is over 50000 shutter actuations above what it is supposed to last. |
