The silver artist took several wax castings of my two children's finger tips, and made this necklace.

Especially since you dipped your kids' thumbs in molten metal.

is that one two sided necklace or two one sided necklaces?

That's one with two sides. If has a 'spinny' connector to the chain, which is pretty neat too.

Heh, it was just a matter of time. It's going to be our "in" after they get jobs where you need a fingerprint scan to enter a vault.

Old-Tech. You should have gotten the retina necklace.

Please stay current. You need a DNA chain. (badumdum)

Ok, next year: Earings

I think you'll need a bone marrow sample from your daughters though. ...or maybe just a mouth swab.

When I die, I want to be cremated and have my remains put into tiny glass and/or metal vials, which can be worn on necklaces, earrings etc.

I should set up a site to pre-sell them.

Any takers (who figure they'll outlive me) at DPC?

Put me down for a single earring which I would wear on my pierced nipple. If I die first, have the earring placed in the container with my cryogenically frozen head.

My dad's ashes were mixed in the ink for a tattoo I got in his honor.
Kinda hard to see, but it is of the constellation "Orion"

Just when I think you're hopeless, Slippy, you drag a sentimental tear out of me :-)

Don't get all sentimental on me, Bear. I only did it for the blowjob. :-D

That's cool.

My husband said he wants his ashes to be ran through his Harley while being ridden through the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC (he was born and raised there)... so he can go on "one last ride". Not sure how well the engine would hold up to that ride though.

Both good ideas!

That's not a bad idea! I don't think a little ash would hurt. It is very fine anyway. But who would ride it?

Silver? Used to be spur of the moment, then it took roses and chocolate, now precious metals. I hate to think of what it will soon take!

And Mike, thats one fantastic, meaningful tattoo.
