ok I have seen a ton of "what should I spend my $500 on" or "what lens should I buy" or "what camera body I should buy". Anyway I decided that I want 1 of these threads but at this moment I am not in the market for any more photo equipment this holiday season. Post here what you want....I doubt that Santa will grant every wish but.....You never know.

I just got the Canon EF-S 55-250 f4-5.6 IS so I am happy about that. It's no L lens or FF body but hey. Oe piece at a time.

I am looking into filters. I knokw they are not expensive. I am getting a UV and probly a polarizer, but I would also like to get a ND filter. Any suggestions on Brand or other info on those? Help me decide!

A decently thorough discussion of polarizers can be found here.
I always get Hoya for my filters, and I've never had a problem. They are usually about midpriced for options. I shy away from Tiffen, and B&W is just so expensive that I only have one. They're nice, sure, but I sometimes wonder if they're THAT nice...

I would LOVE to be able to find WTF I put my cybersync trigger.... It's around here somewhere but damn it's doing a great job at hiding :-/
