No, not Gyaban, Judi, or vawendy (though they are undoubtedly Big Dogs), but a nod to my amazing WPL teammates.

Bear_Music, in his last ten outings, has 6 7 (seven!) top tens including two ribbons - blue and yellow:

And his *camera* was used for another top ten recently: by nickyb

Then, oddly enough, I discovered that LevT in HIS last ten outings also has 6 top tens including a blue ribbon:

jagar, however, has been a total slacker, with only four top tens, one of them a blue ribbon:

tanguera gets the nod for having not one but TWO ribbons in her last ten, and both were on the home page at the same time!

paulbtlw has three four in the top ten of his last ten entries, one two of those also ribbons (and the rabbit is simply priceless):

And our gentle and always encouraging team captain, bspurgeon, has this lovely bejeweled ribbon in his most recent ten entries:

Pretty darn talented group, wouldn't you say? :-)

yes excellent photographers, I have had fun working with jagar, bear_music and tanguera in an ongoing PM critique thread for most of the last year. We had to take a little break over WPL and have recently been able to pick it back up again. I've loved working with my current team but I've missed them. DPC wouldn't be the same without them and I know many people feel the same way.

Who knew? When it's all lined up like that it's sort of amazing, isn't it? Thanks for the shout out, Deb. It's been a pleasure teaming with all y'all :-) Such an interesting group of people :-)

I'm sure it would be even more impressive if I put up all of the challenges covered by the WPL. But I'm lazy, so it's just the ten showing on the profiles at the moment.

It is nice and impressive but it makes the rest of us feel left out.

I'm not sure why you should feel that way. I'll share my thoughts, techniques, approaches with anyone who asks. YOU know that...

Dang! I thought this thread was going to be about large canines!

Kudos to you all .... there's not one of those photos that I didn't enjoy tremendously but please remember that success comes in many measures. Deb, you and your teammates are all Top Dogs in my book!!!

Great shout-out, Deb, and glad to see so many photogs that I respect and like in the lineup! And Deb, don't you dare sell yourself short. Wow, pretty good performing group with consistent top 10s and ribbons. So looks like I'm not BD material...so I'll settle with being that innocent-looking cat that gets underfoot and snarfles a ribbon when no one else is looking :-)

But I AM short. Have been all life. :-)

Deb was the heart of our group. A little, but vital, organ.
12/18/2011 11:45:37 AM · #18
You are too kind Deb, as always. BTW little miss short dog. . . I anchored the team with the lowest average score, you were almost a tiny violin at 5.85 for the tournament, so feel free to slot yourself in there above me. Besides, who knew that a quick snapshot would get a ribbon. Cheers friend.

Absolutely.

Thank you for promoting our team Deb! you forgot to mention that in the last 10 challenges you had a nice PH Blue ribbon adoring this tree

and a Bluebird sitting on this pendulum
not too shabby, for many of us posthumous recognition is worth at least as much as the official scores

...and an update is in order:

another blue ribbon for paulbtlw and another Top 10 for Bear_music! WTG, boys! Team Ephemera rocks!

I thought this was a challenge suggestion... I have a 75 lbs collie -- does that count??

Your group was such an awesome mix! I bet it was a blast. :)

Amended again for Bear's second ribbon in the last ten outings. :-)
