Just had to share this good news with everyone. In the December issue of Practical Photography magazine (UK mag), I had 3 photos published and received a Nikon D7000 with 18-105 lens as the winner of their 2011 DSLR Bootcamp contest! Just got the camera Friday!

Thanks all!

Here are my 3 photos. The project was to submit a group of 3 photos that worked together to illustrated a particular photography technique. My technique was shallow DOF (they called it differential focus).

This one got me on the short list


And these 2 completed the set
