Am I the only one who sees irony in this? FWIW, I leave my share of criticism and can't recall ever receiving a negative PM. In fact I've received many PMs thanking me for being critical. Not everyone wants the canned "nice" comment. That's what stunts your growth. To me those are the negative ones. |

I always had the feeling that I should leave a comment to justify why I was leaving a low score. However, I recently got a response to one of my comments that I felt bordered on personal abuse. That prompted a bit of to-and-fro via PM's, which left a really sour taste in my mouth. It has been my only negative experience on DPC.
I think I gave a 3, and as a result of the response I really was tempted to change the score to a 1 but I didn't want to stoop to that level.
The upshot of that is, I no longer comment when I leave a low score. So everyone loses out due to 1 person who couldn't just take my opinion for what it was without turning it into a confrontation. |

If the PM is ever angry I just let it slide. The only time I tend to respond is when a question on the technical side is brought up.
