I have 2 180 watt Impact Monolights (flashes). I was triggering them with an Interfit flash transmitter which basically would send a small flash out and then trigger the cell function of the monolights. Less than perfect system but it beats running wires. I was messing with it today and my flash trigger quit working. It acts like a light bulb is broken in it and only a small purple flash emits when triggered and not enough to trigger the monolights. My question is just buy another Interfit (made in thailand) or get a treu wireless system. I am just not sure what I need. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks skip..I though about pocketwizards as well and I am sure they are more then adequate. I would like to get Alienbee's down the road so trying to see what they best method would be for future proofing.

Cheap Chinese radio triggers from Ebay all the way. They work perfectly fine even through walls and can prolly be picked up for a tenth of the price of the "name brands".

Thanks Sir_Bazz, I never figured ebay would have things like that and at those prices. I found one that should work for $40.00

I think I paid half of that for mine and they're still going strong some 4-5 years later.

I found some with one transmitter and one reciever for $20.00 but I needed more recievers. So I ended up getting this one.

Yeah they should do the job just fine.

My Bowens monos have internal optical triggers so as long I remember to enable them they all go off when the first one triggers.
