I'd say it is a photography site not a pumpkin carving site. I saw some great photos with so-so pumpkins and some lousy photos of great pumpkins, and some great photos of great pumpkins. I'm looking for great photos. |

| I'd say the top photos should be a combination of both a great photo and great carving. but I won't vote a photo down if it is a really fun idea that is photographed well with a simple carving. The carving doesn't have to be really technical to be good. You can carve a simple pumpkin with triangle eyes and a crescent mouth well or some people can even mess that up. |

I carved. I entered. I failed. On to the next photography challenge please. |
