Did anyone else see this coming (In case you're not aware, she's getting divorced after less than 3 month marriage).

When I heard she was marrying, knowing what little I knew from the press, it all seemed like a way for her to get a little more attention...and when that was gone, it was all over. I'm not normally up in the private lives of celebrities but it seems that her husband seems 'shocked' at the whole situation...like he was fooled in the whole process of her game to gain attention. Poor guy.

We don't get much U.S celebrity news in Japan but this time around a couple of us had a running bet on how long this marriage would last (Bad Karma, I know)...I had 6 months...I lost...too much faith. I really do feel sorry for the poor guy who thought all was well...

seriously those people make me sick they are nothing but a bunch of spoiled attention whores and of course the media gives them what they want. don't forget she got a lot of that wedding for free. seriously there is no honor anymore.

Well, she got publicity for the launch of the new SEARS clothing line. (Days before the wedding!) I don't go to SEARS looking for clothing and the stuff I saw while walking through the store going to the parking lot...yuck! I don't think she was serious from the beginning!

well if sears wasn't going bankrupt before her cloths they will be now...that was a really bad decision on their part.

i blame the viewing audience for enabling these folks, not the people smart enough to capitalize on it.

Does anyone else besides me feel sorry for Bruce Jenner for being involved with such a f'ed up family? Like the OP, I gave it 6 months tops.

Why is that a bad decision?
We're talking about her, we're talking about them, we're talking about all this worthless garbage.
And, because we're all a part of the internet, we're all party to enabling this. This thread testifies to that. Hell, I even crawled out of my cave to weigh in ;)

I don't even know who she is, but I'm already sick of seeing her on tv.

+1

I don't know who she is either - I see her on TV as I'm walking passed the living room to log onto DPC to get away from hearing about her.

I saw an article on USAToday that said getting a divorce wouldn't "tarnish" her brand...

I can only interpret that to mean this stunt won't make trashy trashier.

Normally I like a good trashy woman, but so far I've seen her on almost every day time show, heard about her on 5 different radio stations this morning and had my neighbor ask me what I thought about her situation. Like I said earlier, I have no idea who she is or why this is a big deal. I have a friend going through a divorce and I don't see the local news channels beating on his door asking him about it. Why is she "famous"?

Because her dad got filthy rich helping get OJ off.

She's basically the West Coast version of Paris Hilton.

Blah, ok that makes sense. I don't understand why people/magazines/news find her and Paris so fascinating. Honestly, I could care less what these people do. I'm at the grocery store in line right now and I see row upon row of magazines about celebrities and every little detail of their lives. I find it sad and pathetic, and glad that I'm basically a nobody.

actually shes famous becuase she put out a sex tape, that's when she hit big time, so yeah like Paris Hilton.

you guys also need to realize that her show (as with all reality shows) they are scripted. the characters are just playing a version of themselves. i find it sad that these types of shows are popular, the audience thinks they are getting a glimpse of the real lives when its all a fake.

what passes for entertainment nowadays is pathetic, these shows are cheap to produce are forced down our throats and get huge ratings, while good quality shows are no where to be found any longer. and when a good new show does get put on, if its not an instant hit it gets pulled right when its start to hit its stride.

Sorry, no desire to put out a sex tape, or marry, to turn a buck. Some things just aren't for sale. At least not from me. Funny thing, ethics...
