We went to the park and all these Filippino people selling whistles swarmed around us, of course we had to buy some, they were quite cheap, plus you feel so sorry for them.

Whats fun about this thread is the contrast in local cultures I see going from one shot to the next. Even within shots from the US, there is a wide variance in feel.

As a side note:

Has everyone seen the documentary on Bill Cunningham?

Netflix has the video on streaming so I hope you all get a chance to see it if you haven't already.

As I watched that video, he inspired me not only to be a better photographer, but more importantly...to be a more original character.

+1 -- I saw this earlier this year in a theater. He is a fascinating guy. I am glad to see it streaming on Netflix.

This guy rocked up on his bike, pulled the roof shelter up, so I'm assuming it's where he lives, amazing !

One of the happier idle people sitting around the neighbourhood.

Experimenting with a faint touch of color. Which works better the "touch o' color" version or the straight b/w?

I would prefer 'touch o color' in only the outfit and the rest b/w

Either way, its a great shot
