I agree--keep the card(s) on Write Protect, don't do anything else to/with them, and locate a professional recovery service. Since this was a paid gig, and a wedding to boot, paying a fee to recover them is probably warranted.
You can begin working on the images that you were able to get off the card(s) in the meantime. No need to tell the client anything yet, pending the results from the pro recovery attempt.

Yep, and if they ask, just say "what other photos...or is it photoes. I'll check with Dan Quail.

Another suggestion
This demo only lets you retrieve a certain number of photos to see if it actually works on your problem. Might be worth a try. If it works and the demo won't get them all, at least you know the $29 is worth it. Good luck! |
