OK...I'm thinking about entering this challenge. It would be my first entry. I have an idea, but I need a tutorial on shooting an object (not a portrait...can't get my colden retriever to sit still) on a white background. Can someone point me in a helpful direction? |

I would use two overlapping lightsources, 30-45° to the side, so that the object is lit from both sides and some of the light goes behind the subject to wash out the shadows on the background. A third light from above might help.
A lot of people use a "soft-box" to further diffuse the light and eliminate shadows (assuming that's what you're trying to do). All this will isolate the subject against the white background. |

Can't compete coz crappy camera CMOS contains chunks of clay, collected for cleaning. |

I'm going to form a ladder into the shape of a C and submit that. I accept any and all DNMC's and 1's. ROFLMAO!!! My, how people can try to skew the submission rules. LOL, just kidding, I'm not really gonna do this

I just might have to give a 10 to whatever entry has the most "C" words in it's title. |
