Nonsense. I had the results certified by the Florida Raffle Certification Board.

Darn! And I had already researched how to mount an inferior Canon lens on a Nikon body.

Personally, I think the person who started the ill fated "art roflmao needs your vote" thread should have won... (wait, I already have that cup... That person should have won the actual lens!)

Even though we performed pitifully...

I mean, only getting you to third...

Ummm... Spork, I'd be a little nervous about what's in the cup... Open carefully!!

I have two totally random questions that have nothing to do with anything, nor with each other:

How long does it take priority mail to get from Seattle to Kalamazoo?

How long does it take for a body (or body parts) to decompose?

Just curious.
07/04/2011 08:59:08 AM · #34
what a ridiculous question.

however, for your second question, you can use calcium oxide, or quick lime (it's all the same thing). It has a two fold advantage for body disposal. The first use is to help disguise the smell of decomposition, thus confusing the cadaver dogs or just for general aesthetics. The second is to speed the rate of decomposition. the flesh of an average adult body will decompose in about 4 months, however, bones take much longer and probably up to a year.

I can tell you it takes priority mail 7 days to go from NJ to Conn. I could have walked faster.

Not even going to ask how you came to know this! Is there a confession looming?

Oh, and don't mention where you're going to anyone. He's planning another bbq in a few weeks and needs time to marinate you the meat.

Well this thread has taken a macabre turn. I blame myself.

blame? blame indicates a negative turn, and i posit that you know exactly where we'd take it. take credit for pete's sake.

let this serve as a reminder this thread is about the incredible generosity of one member and the great family-like qualities of dpc that come through when asked, that makes us keep coming back.

Very cool. I didn't even know you were giving away a prize... Would probably help if I read more carefully but where is the fun in that.

What! What! How did birds get into this!

In other business: Tell that nice friend of yours to resubmit that song next year. We'll sing its praises again! Only louder.

Quite quickly actually... if you place the body in a shallow grave, sprinkle lime over the body and spray it with water...or you could use acid, or throw it (the body) in a slag dump...goes right quick there. :O)
