Choose a letter of the alphabet and photgraph your subject to portray that letter WITHOUT acually photographing an existing alphabetical letter. Your submission should be named after your chosen letter.
(OK needs re-worded but you get the idea)

No more visual rather than the first letter. Could be a bridge that looks like an "M" or a ferris wheel for "O" etc etc
Might be too tricky
Whadayathink?

I've seen lots of stuff like this, and it looks really fun.
I wasn't here for the numbers challenge, but it's like that. |

Abba Richman did all the letters over a four month period. It looks both fun and difficult.

Those are representations of the letters, not actual letters. And just because someone has done it before doesnt mean it shouldnt be a challenge. I just posted that as a means of demonstrating what you meant, and also give some examples. I think it's a wonderful exercise in making people look at the world around them and recognise patterns, shapes in everyday things that would otherwise be overlooked.

Abba Richman's work was exactly what I was imagining.
Thanks very much for the link.
If I wasn't so obsessed with entering evry single challenge that comes along I think I'd undertake the challenge myself as a good exercise.
But "Chaos.......mmmmm.........errrrrr......ummmmmmm"

I had this as an assignment for a graphic design class, it was a lot of fun. I shot it on slide film and submitted the chromes. Maybe it's time to do it again digitally...
