| I bought a Canon Powershot S5IS from Yo_Spiff a while back and was curious if there was a newer version of this camera out? Something similar with manual mode, a great zoom and all that? |

| I found this thread that says the replacement is a Canon SX10 IS. |

The SX-30 IS is the newest model in that series. How did the concert shots work out with the S5?

| The concert starts tomorrow evening. We are getting all packed up for three days of wildness. I'm excited about using the S5 out there over the weekend. Bought a bunch of batteries, a few extra memory cards so we will see. I was just curious as my wife loves this camera and wants to get a newer model I guess. She kept bugging me about it earlier when I was in class |
