Thousand-Hand Guan Yin - DEATH & MUTES dancers. Only in China!
Was performed at the Olympic games in Athens 2004. I did not see it then.

Of course, you know that Guan Yin is what the Japanese call Kannon, whence comes Canon. |

Ha, I knew the dance depicted Bodhisattva, but I didn't make the mental link from Guan Jin to Kwan'on (from whence Canon). Cool!
