My wife is an interior designer and has done a room in a show house. In the show house each room is done by a different designer. The house is open for a few weeks and they sell tickets to raise money for a charity. I am taking pictures of her room today – below is a preliminary pic I took before the room was finished. My wife wants a picture of the room printed on postcards with her firm’s name and contact info. The cards will be left in the room for people to take. There are lots of internet sites that print postcards – has anyone used one or have any advice on this?

i've done both 4.25x6 and 5.5x8.5 through amazingmail.com and have been really happy with the results. it doesn't cost much to test out by sending yourself a postcard.

I've used both Vistaprint and OvernightPrints with good results.

I've used VistaPrint for business cards. Depending on how many you need, you could also just make 4x6 prints and leave business cards next to them, or print up some address labels and stick them on the back of the photo.

VistaPrint is cheap and quick and I've been happy with the results. They often have special deals that you can get a lot for a little. But be prepared; they deluge your inbox with email offers daily.

I use Overnight Prints for postcards of our town and sell them in the local gift shops. They sell very well in a limited market. The printing is great BUT>>do not be decieved by the name. Overnight they are NOT and fast they aren't either. If you have a deadline, keep looking.

I highly recommend Elite Flyers. Here is their postcard page on their website.

After extensive research and checking around with other companies, I had the unfortunate timing to order 5000 flyers while the owner of Elite Flyers was on a rare vacation. I had problems with the flyers and I took them to his office on Thursday evening to talk to him about it. The level of commitment towards outstanding customer service was overwhelming. He immediately offered to replace my flyers with an upgrade from 14 pt. cardstock to 16pt. He knew immediately what the problem was and why there was a problem with his subcontracted printing company that this particular order went to. He said that this is probably going to be the final straw for this subcontractor and that he only uses them because they have about a 12 hour turnaround. My reorder will take three days which is still very reasonable.

Yes, he is a wholesaler of flyers and numerous other printed products, but he can resell products cheaper than we can usually get them directly from the source because of the sheer volume that his company does. He chooses the right company for the particular product that you order to ensure the best quality and the best price.

You can order online and/or call by phone. When dealing with them you will probably be dealing with one of only two people...a girl who works there or with Donell Dunstall himself. Make the phone call and tell Donell that Robert Sullivan Photography referred you and I'm certain that his enthusiasm and commitment towards correcting the problem that I had will spill over to ensure that you also receive outstanding service.
