Pretty soon (at least where I live) we can go out looking for baby birds

Meanwhile, I came across this link ...
after wading through a bunch of commercials you can watch a nesting eagle here.

We had a nice Bald Eagle visit last week. While some bald eagles nest in Colorado, I think this one was migrating through. Just took time to rest with fresh fish catch under talons.

Sometimes I love auto focus, sometimes not so much. The camera thinks, ooh nice contrast on the ripples, Ill focus there.
At least I have proof that we have a local Great Blue.

So do your robins migrate? Here the robin is considered one of the first signs of spring.

...Not where I live. The first true sign of spring are the potholes in the pavement. (I hit one today...end result I need a new tire) :O(

Yuh... only reason I posted that one. It's definitely not a great photograph but the bird is unique, or at least it is to me. I have a lot of bird photos but not that many of birds I don't see fairly often.
