here are some examples of suggestions being set aside so that FocusPoint can have his every whim turned immediately into a challenge:
Film Noir
Masters of Photography
Edward Weston Black and White Abstract
and now for something completely different
Fake Movie Still Challenge
Impossible
Nothing
Defenestration
Green filtered b/w male portrait
Edward Hopper
Recreate a Painting
Tim Burton
Edgar Allen Poe
entering and leaving the frame
signature style/in the style of (of a DPC photographer)
Tarantino
Semi-abstract (as poetically described by Yo_Spiff)
Abstract Motion
Weekly World News
any of my Counterphobic Challenges
any of my Freudian Challenges
... and then there's the zeuszen challenge, even FocusPoint is being ignored for FocusPoint. |

Somebody had to say it. :/ |

My top 4 would be
Tim Burton
Edgar Allen Poe
Film Noir
Quentin Tarantino
I consider 4 to be an odd number so deal with it ;P |

I would especially like (keeping to Sirashely's odd four):
Film Noir
Edward Weston Black and White Abstract
Semi-abstract
Green filtered b/w male portrait |

It's a very fine list, thanks Don.
Nothing is an outstanding theme. Painfully difficult to make interesting if it's even possible. |

Nothing is, in fact, a brilliant bit of a connundrum. |

I'll echo Louis' four just because I'd like him to enter a challenge. :) |

Are you guys kidding!
I rather have the same challenges (or variation of) reissued over and over again so we kill any type of challenge and creativity involved. :)
You guys are CRAZY!!

I had to search for it myself, since I had made that challenge suggestion several years ago. My suggestion got no attention at the time I posted it. It appears that Don dug pretty deep for this list. Semi-abstract challenge suggestion

How sweet is this?!
Love the suggestions - oh yeah.
Defenestration - brilliant.
Entering and leaving the frame - one of my favorites.
Edgar Allen Poe - I've done a few of those and would love to see a whole challenge (with what - 25 entries)
Tarantino - so much fun!
And I'd like to throw in there - Edward Gorey; either his body of work in general, but preferably the Gashlycrumb Tinies. |
