No, it's not you. We really are out to get you, and our plan is working wonderfully!
Thanks for being an unwitting pawn.

We are about to have an Extreme SuperMoon. While the scientific research has not proved a causal connection between a full moon and the behavior of people, there is plenty of anecdotal evidence. Ask a policeman if behavior changes on the nights of the full moon. For a year and a half, I was a front desk supervisor at a large hotel. I always had a baseball bat under the counter.... close-at-hand on full moon events. |

Actually, you're right. My sister is a police officer and she tells me they are always way bussier on the full moon. She says sometimes she's just unusually busy for no apparent reason and then realises later on that it's a full moon and "that explains it".
Still doesn't say whether it's me or everyone else reacting to the moon mind you :D

The term Lunatic is derived from the word Lunar (Moon).
Simply put; Hormonal reactions to increased positive ions in the air (Full Moon Effect) cause hyperactivity, depression, violent behavior, road rage, higher occurrences of migraines and asthma. Even bees are known to sting without provocation on higher positive ion ratios.

I get headaches around full moons. |

And what explains all the "unusually busy" nights when the Moon is in some other phase? Unless the she experiences only one busy night/month, and all the rest are quiet, you cannot ascribe any causal relationship between lunar phase and lunatic activity.
It is true that many women's natural hormonal cycle will often synchronize to the lunar phases, but I would never suggest that a woman's hormonal status would affect her behavior, especially since probably 98% of the aforementioned "lunacy" can be attributed to the opposite gender, making the point irrelevant here ... |

If one or two people are annoying, it may be them.
If "everyone" is annoying, it's probably you!
Carry on.

I often experience a bit of a mood swing during a full moon. |

Actually, it isn't that scientific research has failed to prove a causal connection between the full moon and people's behavior, rather, it would be more accurate to say that scientific analysis has disproven any correlative connection between phases of the moon and incidents of mischief and mayhem:
