well, looking back at that...I'm not impressed by that version, so I did another pass here, this time, doing more limited stuff in Silver Efex.

I much prefer the one with darker sky, the 937753. The entire image is more "solid" and very impressive. Personally, I do not see the value of tilting in this case where you deal with a subject that wants to stay so firmly anchored in our minds. |

		| Well, it was a fun February for this challenge. I'd like to thank Steve for coming out with this idea. Congrats to everyone else on this thread. There were a lot of really beautiful shots posted, some are truly right to be called gems. Thanks to everyone who gave their comments. |

Sounds good. I'm up for another month, though I may not post every day. How about someone else choosing the topics for the upcoming month?

 Architecture
 Landscape
 Special Processing (overlay, B&W, etc.)
 Portrait

and I'd like to see a "free week" as well. |

Thanks for running this sc Steve. I really enjoyed it (sorry I dropped out a bit) and would be in it if it continues on with the changing themes idea.

How about you folks throw up a bunch of potential themes like Neil did, and I'll choose 4 from those? That gives everyone a shot at a week of what they like. Keep the subjects fairly broad in nature. I'll start a new thread for March once we have our 4 subjects. I think the changing topics kept it interesting. Most of us were posting all month.

Lots of good topics...you could even do two a week to give us choices. |
