Got a late season (for us) snow storm in the greater Seattle area. Got these two shots from my upstairs office window, didn't even get chilly while shooting. :D

Reminds me of MY cow story at Alisal Ranch. I was in a tiny troller boat, puttering around the lake with three other people. We came upon a clutch of about 7 cows, feeding by the water's edge. Being the free spirit I am, I started lowing at them. They all turned to me as one, so I lowed again. And then they started coming towards us. All of them. Not aggressively at all, more like curiously. Perhaps to rescue the scrawny little cow stuck in the lake? |
