I am looking into buying a D70... I was just wondering if I can use the lenses from my N75 on the D70? It would save me oodles of money, considering I already have the 28-80mm and the 70-300mm for the N75.
Thanks!
Lor

Don't forget about the Crop factor of 1.5x
Your 28-80mm is now a 42-120mm
Your 70-300mm is now a 105-450mm
Not really an issue up high, but down low it is. |

Yes, they work fine.
They're the ones I'm using right now. You can see some sample pics in 1st pic with the D70 thread. |

So, I will actually get better pictures with higher pixels? I always shoot 1200x1600 or higher? I am just a bit confused :)

Pixel of camera dont change but focal lenght of lens gets changed due to fact sensor of D70 is not full frame, 24x36 ( not sure if this these are correct figure)
It means if you have wide angel lens of 28mm, simply multiply with 1.5 and it becomes 42mm i.e from a wide angel lens it becomes a not wide angel (i dont what do you call lens in this focal lenght)
It means if you wanted to capture something with wide angel in mind , now they will be captured @ 42mm resulting in compression of distance
