Thanks, Jacko.
I don't suppose a backward country like Canada has patches that help the body lower its temperature during a fever. ; ) |

She is gorgious. Those eyes really stand out. I just want to cuddle her. I hope she feels better soon.
Have fun with the new camera.

Thanks a lot, Sonja. She was crawling around an hour ago, so I think she'll be back to her bubbling self very soon.

Rodger, you have some wonderful photos in your portfolio, and you speak Japanese? Doumo arigatou gozaimasu. Ii shashinka ga sou iu fuu ni homareruto, hontou ni ureshii desu.
I didn't buy any lenses. I'm using the set I got with my U/F/N65 kit 2 years ago. They are the cheapest Nikon offer, but they work really well, and are fast.
[AF Nikkor G-type: 28-80mm f3.3 was used for this photo.
AF Nikkor G-type: 70-300mm f4 was the telephoto lens with the set.]

2nd pic.
I know some people out there are thinking, "what the h***, this guy gets a great camera and just photographs his baby".
Aside from some very slight sharpening on the eye, this shot is straight from the camera. |

Thanks. Yes, she is my first. She takes her looks from her mother. We really are the beauty and the beast. : )

Great pic dude. My son is my favorite subject to shoot. I got my 550EX camera flash so I can bounce the light off the ceiling or walls. He really doesn't mind the flash that way.

It feels great! I changed from the Minolta Dimage 7hi for a number of reasons, but mainly because of its slow response speed in focussing. I was missing so many shots (of my baby, of course) that my hair was turning white.

Thanks.
Today, I got an SB-800 speedlight (which I think has roughly the same power as the 550EX, having a 20 metre range). The difference in my camera life is beyond expression at the moment. The flash is annoying the wife, though. |
