Looks like Kodak and Canon are back on speaking terms; today Kodak announced a version of their 14 MP full-frame DSLR that takes Canon EF mount lenses. Article here. |

Full frame EOS for half the price? :)
When wideangle is important you can save a lot of money on lenses and use this body with the 17-40 to get real 17mm perspective.
Sigma makes the SLR/c body, so how stupid would it be to assume a SD10/c at Photokina? The most important thing that limits me from even wanting to try it is the Sigma mount. I think that Sigma/Foveon would sell triple the amount of SD10's if it had an EOS mount.

Full frame EOS is easy - image quality is the tough part. Hopefully this new Kodak camera won't be quite the mess the last one was.
(Frebel is only about $200 - all the full frame, wide angle you want :) )

That's what happens when you compare the old European euro prices with today's US dollar prices (like I did). :(

Very interesting. It could be an option for someone with Canon glass who needs bigger output.

Something tells me the s/n won't be so hot. It's not a good sign when they limit a high-end camera to 30s exposures. |
