YAY!!! I am getting my head around crap scores and thinking at least DPC is making me take pictures again after a long break and I just love this picture and will be one I keep as means something to me! So YAY for low scores:-) |

| Just got done voting. I didn't enter this one, I had a hard time wrapping my mind around it. There was some really nice shots, one clear winner, and a whole bunch that I just didn't get how they were vintage? |

Maybe it was the editing that was vintage and not the content. |

Was at 5.57 last night when I went to bed.
Now I'm at 5.05 and I really like the shot. I think part of the difficulty of this challenge is that the voter's personal perception of "vintage" makes the voting all over the place and the photos submitted just as varied. And there is a difference between Vintage and Antique as someone pointed out.
I like my shot so who cares, lol. |

I am at 5.02xx, but that seems to be my standard in these challenges. I have to continue to improve my post-editing skills, I think!
I like to think vintage as being an item or process of a specific previous era that is still useable or serviceable. If it is not useable or serviceable, then it is maybe antique, or abandoned, or old . . .
I have not voted yet, but I have looked at the submissions - lots of good ones and several different interpretations, too. Lots of good stuff! |
