Last night I received my first validation request for my 4th place finish in the high key challenge. I submitted my original raw image directly from the camera card. The box on the lefthand side says that they have one original for this image on file as follows. The name of the file is correct; however, there is an red "x" in the box. I am not certain they received it correctly or not. Have sent a request for confirmation but have not heard anything. I am just a little nervous about this whole process. Anyone have information that would calm my nerves?

I sent mine too for my 4th place finish in the toilet paper challenge and am still waiting for validation. Even the mods are leaving it would seem.

We need more mods.

The "Red X" indicates a strike. Slip up again and you're banished.

I guess laughter is good for the nerves, lol. Still don't know what the "red X" represents.

Maybe your browser has failed to download the GIF file that says, "Validated!", and it's been replaced with the universal broken-link red x.

I would try to upload again and see if it comes up again.
To me a red x represents that the image cannot be viewed.

It represents an unimportant error. Your original was received OK and is still in the voting process. Unless you get a specific request, you do not need to re-upload.

Like I've said before... I never have any validation problems... I simply PayPal $50 to Site Council and everything is magically taken care of. ;-)

Thanks Paul.

I just submitted it again, so there are two copies now.

DPC's scripts don't have a RAW->JPG converter? What?!

=O

A converted file would no longer be the original, pristine, untouched, unsullied version that they covet so highly.
They being SC. They also covet alcohol and anonymous donations of cash.
