Welcome to this week's "Member of the Week" post. Every week I will post the name of a member and a link to their profile. This will be our Member of the Week. I've always liked Tom's shots. One reason is that he takes a lot of shots of baseball, which is a passion. Also, my favorite tfarrell23 shot was taken about 25 minutes from Marion, Illinois where I grew up. And you don't see too many shots of Southern Illinois around here... or anywhere for that matter.
Always liked this as well. Especially in the middle of winter as I'm waiting for the Cardinals to begin the season.

Hi Guys...this was a surprise...I really never thought I would ever receive this award...lol..I mean I started almost 8 years ago, totally ignorant in digital photography and it is because of this site that I have learned a few things...(and I have even forgotten a few more...lol)...but I am proof that you can learn with DPC.
Sandi and I started with this site to record our life together as we were married a few months previous...and we have a record, we knew where we where when we took this and that photo, alot were bad...some funny....and I'd say a few might be considered ok..but we have that record..and I am glad for that...
Thanks to Karen for thinking of me while looking through the hundreds of worthy photographers here on DPC...and thanks to all others that have made me better in my hobby. It's been a lot of fun over the years. |

 I love this thread because I often am presented with photographers whose portfolios I haven't explored, this being one of them. I'll mention this particular photo because it is one that resonated with me during the challenges, but there is lots to bemuse and enjoy in there! Congrats. |
