Your friends are kinda looking like they would rather be anywhere but at work! :) Great candid!

My daughter just hanging out at home (always willing to have her picture taken).

Went to the farm with my 2 y.o.'s playgroup yesterday. Got a few more BWs that I'll post later today.

I just saw this and I'm game (haven't had the camera out for a few days though).

QUERY:

I have ACR (Adobe camera RAW) set to display my images according to the camera presets. That is to say, if I set my camera to shoot B/W with high contrast and sharpness, then those settings are what I see in the RAW converter when I open the image, and if I click OK and export that to CS3 it's exactly what I'd see in the JPG if I shot RAW+JPG with the same camera settings.

So is it OK with y'all if I do this SC that way? 'Cuz I really don't wanna clutter things up with a lot of duplicate images, but I'm not willing to set my camera to B/W, JPG and maybe miss something killa' in the heat of the moment and forgetting to go back to RAW.

These are my first since I read carefully the challenge description. Shots in traffic while my wife drove to dinner.

Using in camera BW filter, and in camera toning. Hope that is still in the spirit of the challenge. If not I can do plain BW.

We had a good day poking around in the swamp Saturday. We went wading waist deep for a while during the day, to get up close and personal with the plants and critters.

Kitty tracks, about 2 1/2 inches wide.

Photos in this SC are perfect so far. Compositions are right on in most cases and settings are also on target. I probably forced you to pay attention to your viewfinder more, not only composition wise, but also seeing the settings on there, such as ISO, Shutter speed, F-Stop etc. With some practice, anyone can pay attention to those and produce much better out of camera shots, which need very little post editing... I use my editing tools such as PhotoShop to fix as little as possible, or create "Art" other than pure photography. These are "Pure Photography", you can get purer than these. Thank you all and please keep those photos coming this way :)

Not at all exciting. I'm finding it harder than I thought to get anything to look okay without editing.
