I've pulled my Rusted entry for fear of scoring sub-4 with it... sorry :(

Hey, I got you, Paul. You'll not get a by as I rushed an entry in under the deadline last night, but it might be more accurate to say limboed in as it's cruising a good 0.5 below my average. You're doing a great job, so if it helps to keep you in the running, narry a tear will be shed.

Tom congrats on a hard fought battle. Was fun watching where we were all week. Good luck this round!

Thanks Paul for running this SC.

I hear ya there Tom, its always fun to be going head to head with someone, no matter how indirectly the race is... This was really fun, especially when we were liek 0.02 or less apart. That was really fun! Thanks again.

Thanks Peter - I'm currently running slightly above my average but well outside my normal photographic style! I have mixed feelings.

So far I've stayed above my average, but not as much as the last one. ;-)

Question for Paul - or who ever understands the challenge rules:

When you post the winners for the last challenge (BW Still Life), will you also post the new pairings so we know against whom we're playing?

I know this involves a lot of calculations. I'm just curious who my competition is, assuming I'm in this round.

Thank you!

I don't think I'll be too much competition for kleski in Rusted challenge. I'm currently 0.5826 below my average!

Just barely above my average by .2246, big drop from last night. How are you doing Marc?

You'll get this round. I shot two pictures with my point and shoot, and kept meaning to get something more interesting, but didn't have time. :( So, it was polishing the poop and entering. :P

I've not paid attention to my score this morning, but there is no way I can see it being above my average.

Ouch!! Sorry to hear that. Figured you would knock me out this week after I saw the matchup. Currently I am 0.5 above my average.

Thanks, Oliver! I'm VERY surprised to have won our match. Our entries came in 27th and 28th. If you weren't such a good photographer (having such a high average to beat), you'd have won. Now... how odd is that? :)

Well with these voters you never know. ;-) I know sometimes it's really hard to find the time to shoot for challenges. I'll be starting school today, and I'm not sure if I'm going to have time to enter after this. Good luck though!

Just remember it's only first day voters! LOL! Both of our scores will probably change a bit in the days to come. I think this match might be a close one, so you should also think about shooting for 7's.

Presently doing well at .6265 above my average.
08/23/2010 01:22:49 PM · #325
So all scores are in comparison to the starting average, correct?

I'm sitting 1.0362 above my original 4.9961 or 1.0158 above my updated average.
