Man, you guys have been posting in overdrive! I go away one day and wham!!! Just got back from San Diego, where we went whale watching. I have a few great shots on dry land, and hopefully a couple from the boat (although I got sick - always do - and took a bunch "blind"...). Now I'm off to bed and hopefully feel better :-( |

Not sure if this will work. This is a speeded up version of the slideshow I did for the salon for the cancer benefit. It has different music than the one I burned also. Anyway, no comments necessary.

I saw M&Ms at the shop today, and bought a packet... I ate most of them and now I feel ill.
Here's to you, M.
Edit: And this.
But I'm not sure if I like that one. I'll decide tomorrow when I'm not full of chocolate.
For now, good night.

Here are a few of shots from my trip to San Diego. Unfortunately, I got sick on the boat (at the time the whales showed up so I didn't get any of them!!!!). All my pictures of dolphins were me pointing the camera over the side of the boat and just hitting the shutter.
A dolphin shot:
A geometric shot:
A bird shot:
And a boat shot:
Here's the whole set.
And of course, the best one was the one that got away (didn't realize the autofocus was off):

Kinda nervous posting a flying-thing macro here when Roz has organised this side challenge... But I found a lonely fly earlier today. Since getting my new lens I've wanted to shoot some bugs, but they're really quite speedy... and I'm not.
So I woke up this morning and saw it on my lamp shade, and was like "ohmigod." I got my camera and took some shots, and it didn't move. It didn't even care about me using the flash, which I had to use, unfortunately.
He's probably still there now.
I uploaded that image cause the composition was more interesting. Other shots here.
