So I booked myself a holiday in Crete for 2 weeks in September. Then I thought I had better get a UWA lens for those tight shots in Chania town and landscapes on this truly beautiful island. So I purchased a Tokina 11-16mm f2.8. A lot of hassle getting this lens as they are like rocking horse sh*t in the UK. Then I saw a great offer for a 7D in Jessops which I could not resist...so I now have a shiney new 7D to go with my new Tokina!
Looking forward to using the 7D, though I doubt it is that good it will get me a ribbon :-)

Well, it's nearly October :-)
Yeh, you will see them soon, just have to work out how to use the 7D

Ok, can I say it? Yes I can! I am suffering from a serious illness. Toy Envy!!!!!I would be happy to take them off your hands for you. I would even pay shipping!!!!!!!!
They look great and should be so much fun to have on your trip. I'm really looking forward to seeing the beautiful pictures yo are going to take with your new toys.

Thanks everyone, a bit of a learning curve from the 30D and I had to update PSE7 to even open the RAW files .
Going out to a 4x4 show/rally tomorrow so hope to get a few snaps

I made the jump from 30D to 7D recently as well. I love the new camera but some of the ergonomic changes haven't been so great for me so far... especially the one where the delete button is where the review button used to be... lol
